The Jerry Springer Show
When I originally decided to write this particular article, I was going to discuss the health problems of the Vampyre and what they mean to us. But after much revision and some depressing thoughts, I scrapped the whole idea and began surfing the net for something to cheer me up.
And, WOW! Did I find it. So without further ado, I present to you:
THE REDNECK VAMPIRE
There are many Vampyre purists that will think that this web site in and of itself is such a mockery of what we are and our lives that it is quite offensive. I, on the other hand, can�t stop laughing about it. First off, the person who came up with this, redneck or not, is a freaking genius. I damn near needed a new keyboard after spitting diet coke over mine several times.
I live in a part of the world where there exists two basic languages. The smooth flowing style of Ebonics and the powerful and colored Redneckian. Ok, so neither of these are ACTUALLY languages, but in all fairness to those that speak them, I do have to say that they need to be considered dialects of the English language. Each has its own color and nuance that sets it apart from the rest of the English speaking world.
I will not delve into the wonderful world of ebonics except to say one thing. SUP DAWGS?!?!?!
That done, I would like to dig a little deeper into the power of the Redneckian dialect and explain how it effects the Vampyre community.
We as a group of people are slowly coming to bear with not only our condition, but also with the reactions of a world that does not understand what we are about. As I have said in previous articles, we are not creatures of the night who turn into bats and wear funky tuxedoes. We are common people with common lives, whom have developed an energy depletion problem. Normal food intake does not supply us with the energy we need to survive, so our bodies have developed other means in which to garner this energy. Mostly, it is through the absorption of life energy from living beings. Whether it is drawn from the life force that flows within the blood or tapped directly from the auras of living beings, they both have the same result.
In many ways, our communities need to grow. We need to prepare research, and introduce ourselves to society slowly and with patience. With proper disclosure, proper education and a little bit of stoic faith, I feel that one day, the rest of humanity will accept us for what we are and not look upon us as a bunch of crackpots. For this reason, I think that our language, our ability to communicate with the rest of the world is more important than anything else. If we do not express our ideas and beliefs in a cognizant or rational manner, we will be left a laughing stock, bared open in front of all the world. The ridicule that we will suffer will make Jerry Springer guests feel good about themselves.
And this is where my point finally comes together. Much in the same way that white supremacist groups invade Jerry's show and end up looking like FOOLS because of their POOR education and back woods dialects. These people OBVIOUSLY live in the south and OBVIOUSLY have a lack of education and do NOTHING to further the cause for which they preach. Now, I do not condone racism, nor do I feel that such groups SHOULD exist in today�s society, but they do and that is that. Cry all you want, but racial tolerance should be the standard, not the exception. Now, if these groups had intelligent leadership, charismatic speakers who knew what they were talking about, I truly do FEEL that the world would be in trouble. Look at what a little known official with passion and charisma did to Germany. Look again what he did to the entire WORLD. Could this happen again? Probably not, but why give it a try? Why even allow it to happen? So when you DO see these retarded rednecks preaching their racial hate, remember, better to have them doing that, then to have some intelligent person make sense of it all.
But what of us? What of the Vampyres? Why is this important to our lives and communities? Simply put, we have a chance at introducing ourselves to the rest of humanity in one of two ways. We can be rational and passionate, present ourselves in a well thought out way and have the world accept us and our conditions, or we can go on Jerry Springer and get in fist fights with the audience.
